From here, a lane behind the row of cliff villas, the beach steps and the hillside warungs are each five minutes away by scooter. With only 100 m² of ground to work with, the house goes up instead of out: two floors and 125 m² (≈ 1,345 sq ft), the pool in front and the upper windows level with the treetops.

Downstairs is one open space: a stone kitchen island, a dining table and a living room glazed toward the garden.
