01 · Case study
Rise Real Bali held an exclusive mandate from Jungle Padel. We sold equity packages in the parent company, stakes in individual clubs and franchise rights. Buyers came from several countries: family offices, funds and private investors. Some deals went well beyond the published packages, with individual buyers putting in around Rp 8.85 bn on bespoke terms.

03 · The market
Indonesia came to padel late and caught up fast. The country has a strong racket-sport tradition, a huge population and two centers of demand: Greater Jakarta and Bali.
Indonesia's men have won the Thomas Cup 14 times, more than any other country, and the women's team has taken the Uber Cup three times. Indonesian badminton players hold 22 Olympic medals, 8 of them gold. The short swing, quick hands at the net and doubles play carry over to padel with almost no relearning.

That's the population BPS counted in its SUPAS 2025 survey. During 2025, courts in Indonesia went from 240 to 947 and clubs reached 293. At that pace, padel is on track to sit next to badminton as a mainstream sport, well beyond an expat hobby.

The Indonesian Padel Association (PBPI) put 40% of courts in Greater Jakarta and 30% in Bali as of June 2025. Most new clubs in 2025 opened in South Jakarta and Banten province, and Bandung's count grew 4.8 times. Jungle Padel's core players are 25 to 44 years old, and 40% of them are women.

Three groups play on the island: tourists (6.3 million foreign visitors in 2024), expats and a growing local crowd. Visitors keep coming all year, so clubs hold their occupancy. Across the Jungle Padel network it averages 85%.

04 · Comparison
Dubai is the most mature padel market in the region. The UAE Padel Association counted more than 900 courts and 250 venues in Dubai alone by mid-2025. An evening peak hour there costs 2.7 to 3.9 times what it does in Bali.

We raise money for the project, build a club or a network from scratch, and set up management so the courts stay booked every day.
06 · Stages
Six stages take you from a plot of land to a club that runs without us. Each one ends with a deliverable and a document.
We size local demand: residents, tourists, nearby courts and what they charge per hour.
Court count, roof, and side income from the academy and cafe.
We find investors or an operating partner, then put together the deal structure and paperwork.
Design, contractors, glass and court surfaces, lighting, the lounge area. We keep the schedule and the budget in check.
Manager, coaches, booking system, first tournaments. The community starts forming before opening day.
Procedures, reporting, occupancy and revenue KPIs. Then we hand the club to an operator or run it ourselves.
07 · Ownership formats
The right format depends on your ticket size, your time horizon and how involved you want to be.
You co-own one operating venue. An operator runs the club, and you receive your share of the profit.
You hold equity in the parent company, so you own a piece of every club, future ones included. In the Jungle Padel case, stakes started at 0.5%.
Your own club under the network's brand, with its launch standards, academy and booking app.

Straight answers
Yes. You buy shares in the Indonesian company that owns the club or the whole network, and you're entered in its shareholder register. That's how Jungle Padel sold packages starting at 0.5% of the parent company. A lawyer reviews the deal structure before signing. Rise Real Bali handles the negotiation and the paperwork.
In the Jungle Padel case, 0.5% of the parent company cost Rp 1.37 bn and the 1% package cost Rp 2.74 bn, according to company materials. Some deals went beyond the published packages, at around Rp 8.85 bn. A stake in a single club, a franchise or a new build is priced per project, since the budget depends on the site and the number of courts.
Everything from bare land to an operating club: demand study, financial model, fundraising, construction and court fit-out, staff and coaches, booking system, launch and operating procedures. You can order the full cycle or a single stage, such as consulting for a club that's already open. We quote the timeline and budget once we've assessed the site.
A club stake is co-ownership of a built venue. An operator runs it, and you take a share of the profit. A franchise is your own club under the network's brand, which you build and run to the brand's standards. The third option is equity in the parent company, which gives you a slice of the entire network at once.

Bali has the highest court rates in the country, averaging Rp 430,875 an hour. Worldwide, Playtomic and PwC Strategy& put the total at 58,300 courts.
The sequence runs like this: NDA and letter of intent, a meeting with the company's management, then access to a data room with the financials. Lawyers draft the agreement, payment goes through escrow, and the buyer is entered in the shareholder register. Rise Real Bali discloses the names of some companies only after an NDA is signed.
An hour on court in Bali averages Rp 430,875, the highest rate in Indonesia according to the Core & Court and Growell 2025 report. Jakarta averages Rp 423,354 and Central Java Rp 300,000. The price depends on the time of day, whether the court is covered and the level of the club.
Dubai costs more and has far more courts. Based on 2026 club rate cards, an evening peak hour runs AED 240–340 (≈ Rp 1.16–1.64 million), and the UAE Padel Association counts more than 900 courts in Dubai alone. In Bali, an hour averages Rp 430,875, and Indonesia has over 20 times fewer courts per capita.
